Bosso 2023 MKK Cup Tournament ends 5 Against 4 Goals

  The 2023 football tournament in Bosso Local Government area of Niger State tagged Mele Kolo Kyari(MKK) Cup has ended, with commentators hailing the sole sponsor Alhaji Bala Isah Alfa ( Adalin Bosso).

The football competition went on for two straight weeks, with various teams in the area slugging it out for the coveted 2023 MKK Cup.

The last leg of the competition was held at the Federal University of Technology(FUT) Minna with the sports Stadium overstretched to capacity with elated fans from various places.

The final match ended 5-4 between Unity Boys of Maitumbi and Young Planners of Maitumbi

At hand to encourage the young but promising players at the close of the tournament was HRH Muazu Laka - the District Head of Bosso.

Speaking to newsmen after the presentation of the trophy to the winning team, the sponsor, Alhaji Bala Isah Alfa (Adalin Bosso) said beyond encouraging talents, the tournament was meant to promote unity and brotherhood in the host community.

In his remark at the end of the presentation of trophy, HRH Sarkin Bosso praised the sponsor, saying sports has been a source of strength and unity between Muslims and Christians of Bosso, adding that it has also helped in the area of community security.

Also in attendance at the close of the competition were dignitaries from within and outside Bosso, notably  Coach lsah Ladan bosso National Coach of Flying Eagles, Chairperson of Bosso Local Government - Hajiya Ladidi Bawa Bosso and host of others
